Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan received death threats on November 7. This call was taken by the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai and the caller demanded a Rs 50 lakh ransom from the actor.
Shah Rukh Khan’s activities tracked by Faizan Khan
As per the latest updates, the police were able to track down the call, and Raipur lawyer Faizan Khan was taken into custody for reportedly threatening King Khan with death. Faizan ‘closely monitored’ Shah Rukh Khan and his family were accused of threatening him.
The investigation further revealed that Faizan had been closely monitoring Shah Rukh Khan, as well as his son Aryan Khan’s movements. The authorities found that he had been conducting ‘thorough online searches’ related to the family’s security and whereabouts, as per TOI.
The Bandra police seized Faizan’s second mobile phone, which was confirmed by his forensic examination. Faizan also attempted to collect sensitive information about the security arrangements in place for the Jawan actor and his family, the investigation revealed as per the reports. Amid these updates, security measures were taken for the Khan family in response to the threats. The Maharashtra government has provided Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan with Y-plus security. However, Faizan has claimed that he has been framed and denied all the charges against him.
For the unversed, this is not the first time Faizan Khan has been under observation in the case; earlier, also had a complaint in relation to Shah Rukh Khan. In 1994, he approached the Mumbai police, creating an issue about SRK’s film Anjaam since he found the dialogue offensive.
Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK is currently filming for Sujoy Ghosh’s King. He will be seen with his daughter Suhana Khan in the action thriller film, which has been titled The King.
As per the reports, the budget for the film is Rs 200 crore. Reportedly, The King will feature Shah Rukh as a mentor to Suhana’s character and is going to be in the same zone as the 1994 acclaimed actioner Leon.
